Dee Trenery is an Elementary Remedial Math & Reading Teacher. She earned a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education and a minor in French from Bloomsburg University. Dee uses her organizational and teaching skills while sharing her love of history and the arts. As a person who develops and conducts workshops for education, Dee is also working to develop docent-training programs for The Meadows.

It was a visit to The Meadows Foundation houses during the holidays in 1998 that began her relationship with the organization. She wanted to see what the organization was doing, and then she wanted to help. Subsequently she attended a program, and met other volunteers.
She joined The Meadows around 2000, and two years later was voted

onto the Board of Directors.

Dee is active as a volunteer on the Arts & Culture, Sinterklaas, and Tulipwood committees. She volunteered the past three years for community events such as Pumpkin Patch, and Bunny Jamboree.

Professionally she was honored with a Governor's teacher recognition award. Dee is a member of the NJ Reading Association, and NJEA where she served as membership chair for local teacher association. She is a past member of American Association of University Women.
